Change can be hard, even the change you choose. I work with adults and older teens moving through life's transitions and the questions of identity, anxiety, and self-doubt that come with them.

Whether you're facing a major change, weighed down by anxiety, or questioning how you see yourself, we'll clarify what matters to you, and what's making this stretch hard. Check anything that sounds familiar; it travels with you when you schedule.
Alongside online video sessions, I offer walk-and-talk therapy on the Bay Area Peninsula. For many people, moving side-by-side makes it easier to think clearly and speak honestly. It can work well to do a mix of both, using video and walk-and-talk sessions interchangeably as scheduling and preference allow.
Sessions blend reflection with goal-oriented focus, adapting to the style that fits for you. Check any focus areas that speak to you; it gives us a shared starting point, and there's no need to choose just one.
I see clients by secure video across California, and I offer in-person walk-and-talk sessions on the Bay Area Peninsula. Sessions are $300 for 50 minutes of individual therapy, and I'm generally available on weekdays. If you want to explore whether we're a good fit, a free 15-minute consultation is an easy place to start.
Private pay, out-of-network. I don't bill insurance directly; sessions are paid out of pocket.
If you have out-of-network benefits, I provide monthly superbills you can submit for possible partial reimbursement, and I'm glad to help you figure out what to ask your insurer.
Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Discover, and HSA/FSA cards accepted.
If cost is a barrier, I keep a small number of reduced-fee openings. Feel free to reach out to see if one is currently available.
If this sounds like the kind of support you're looking for, I'd love to hear from you. Pick a time, call, or email. If you use the online scheduler, everything you've checked along the way comes with you.
I'm Eve Stoller, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in California. I earned my MSSW from Columbia University in 2011. Before opening this practice, I spent fifteen years in nonprofit behavioral health, much of it in high-acuity settings. Early in my career I worked directly with adolescents facing serious behavioral and psychiatric challenges and their families, and later with adults and families navigating crisis and homelessness. For much of the last decade I led clinical services and training at a Bay Area nonprofit—overseeing programs across several sites, supervising graduate students and pre-licensed clinicians, and teaching on risk assessment and safety planning, self-compassion, and working with people in distress. Opening this practice is a return to what I find most meaningful: working with clients directly.
I live on the Peninsula with my husband and two young kids. In my free time I like to read, bike, and rock climb, sometimes with small companions who have strong opinions about all three!
